Announcing the inaugural CAPS Child Safe Leader Awards!

About the CAPS Child Safe Leader Awards

To be held on 16 September 2020 at NSW Parliament House, the national awards will celebrate the efforts of those who work tirelessly to keep our most vulnerable safe from harm and champion child rights.

Any individual or organisation that helps to prevent any form of child abuse and neglect is encouraged to enter. We want to put the spotlight on the inspirational work being done across Australia to safeguard child safety and wellbeing.

It has been over two years since the completion of the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse and we now want to share the success stories of how our society is working to forever break the cycle of abuse.

Examples of eligible projects can include parenting programs, offender prevention initiatives, domestic and family violence awareness campaigns - anything that helps to ensure that our children are safe, supported and loved.
